Calgary house price gains picking up speed

House price gains are starting to pick up speed in Calgary, according to the Canadian Real Estate Association. The national realtors’ group reported Friday that Calgary has experienced a 4.84 per cent gain in the past 12 months to May in the MLS Home Price Index — second only to Toronto’s 7.93 per cent year-over-year growth.   See http://www.industrymailout.com/Industry/LandingPage.aspx?id=1040270&lm=43260451&q=483111407&qz=10210086cd09314e65c282f580e500e4 for more details.

Renovation Tips to Help Your Home Sell

Be certain that any renovations you do in your home are appropriate to your house and neighborhood. Be careful not to do renovations that cannot be recovered because you overspent on them. For instance, it makes no sense to put $75,000 worth of renovations into your $250,000 home when the average selling home price in your neighborhood is $250,000. Plan your home-selling experience by anticipating what repairs or upgrades your home needs to make an impression on potential buyers. Have them done professionally and within the average selling price of your neighborhood in order to recoup the greatest amount of your money in the sale.  Visit http://www.industrymailout.com/Industry/LandingPage.aspx?id=1040271&lm=43260451&q=483111407&qz=0651d302f618dda7a56351f3ef4747f1 for more information.
