Hope everyone is safe and staying away from the flood zone in Calgary. My thoughts are with all my fellow Albertans! If there is any way I can help, please let me know.
I made #3 out of the office last month! Thank you for your referrals and having past clients choose to work with me again is a huge compliment. See recent testimonial:
“We bought a home through Nancy 8 years ago and decided it was time to sell. Nancy has continued to work in the neighbourhood and there was no other Realtor as far as we are concerned. Nancy’s staging tips and advice worked. We sold for list price in 1 day! She did a great job.” –The Ross Family
The market in Calgary is favouring the Sellers in most areas. Out-of-town market is busy as there is more affordable housing than buying inner city Calgary. Less single family homes available that buyers are considering townhouse condos. Prices are on the rise but there are some good deals for buyers if they have a Realtor notifying them before a home is listed on www.MLS.ca
If there is anything I can do, please let me know. I love to help. Check out www.NancyBall.ca for the latest MLS listings!
P.S. Don’t forget to enter my trip for 4 to Disneyland Contest & more prizes! See below.

Calgary listed as one of Canada's more affordable housing markets
Calgary’s housing market renaissance has not been a steady process, as the overall improving trend in resale activity was inconsistent last year, says a report released today by RBC Economics Research. But the city remains one of the more affordable housing markets in Canada. The latest Housing Trends and Affordability Report said recent statistics, however, show that resales in the area stabilized in the first quarter of 2013 and that month-to-month gains were registered during the February to April period. » Click Here
Building a Flowerbed Without Digging
One of the easiest ways to make a new garden bed harnesses the natural forces of the sun, weather, and earthworms to transform bare turf into rich, plantable earth. Once you layer cardboard, newsprint, and compost on top of the turf, and wait several months, the turf decomposes into 6 to 8 inches of topsoil. Build the bed at the beginning of one season and it should be ready for planting by the next season. For example, pile up the layers in early spring; the ground will be plantable by summer. No digging; no sweat. See below for complete step-by-step instructions. » Click Here
