Hello Everyone,

My interview with MoneySense Magazine has arrived! See the article link below. The Calgary Real Estate Board worked with MoneySense Magazine as well as Top Calgary Realtors to compare statistics for the “Top 3 Calgary Neighbourhoods to Invest”. It was an honor to be the only Calgary Realtor chosen to be published in this article.

With the arrival of winter early this year, it is a good time to start thinking about interior renovations, to make our home more energy efficient, fix the concerns that were neglected during the warmer months, or just to spruce things up a bit! I've tried to include some articles that will give you some tips and advice with your next home project.

If you would rather just sell and start fresh with a new

Hello Everyone,

Hope you are all having a great summer. Some interesting articles attached and a special thanks to Neel Roberts for the Calgary Herald article provided.

The Alberta flooding will show its impact in the next upcoming months but sales growth last month was stronger than year-to-date trends and long-term averages. That said, the Calgary Real Estate Board has stated that if new listing levels rise this could help ease tight market conditions. Basically if you are thinking of selling… now is the time to list and buyers are able to negotiate some great deals as more new listings enter the market. Even if you are curious and would like a free market evaluation please don’t hesitate to ask!

Hi Everyone,

Hope everyone is safe and staying away from the flood zone in Calgary. My thoughts are with all my fellow Albertans! If there is any way I can help, please let me know.

I made #3 out of the office last month! Thank you for your referrals and having past clients choose to work with me again is a huge compliment.  See recent testimonial:

“We bought a home through Nancy 8 years ago and decided it was time to sell. Nancy has continued to work in the neighbourhood and there was no other Realtor as far as we are concerned.  Nancy’s staging tips and advice worked.  We sold for list price in 1 day!  She did a great job.”  –The Ross Family

Hi Everyone,

“The phrase ‘Hell or High Water’ suddenly appeared in social media attached to our brand,” said Deanne Carson, vice-president marketing and external relations of the Calgary Stampede. “It has really become a tag line to the optimism, power and resiliency of the community to get the job done no matter what obstacles we face.”

Bob Thompson, president and chairman of the Calgary Stampede Board, said the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth has survived two World Wars and a Great Depression without ever having to cancel the event in its 101-year history and it will open its gates July 5 “come hell or high water.”

We should all be so proud to be living in this wonderful city. We have come together in good times and through adversity with open

Hello there,

How are you? Enjoying this sunshine now that Spring has finally arrived I hope. The Calgary, Cochrane, Chestermere, Okotoks and Airdrie markets are holding up well. According to the Calgary Real Estate Board, the current market conditions could favour the seller and the benchmark price for a single family home this April in Calgary spiked to $452,900. This means that buyers need to be looking for deals as there will be more new MLS listings coming on the market. Check out http://www.NancyBall.ca for the latest MLS listings and contact your favourite Realtor to view any homes.

P.S. Don’t forget to enter my trip for 4 to Disneyland Contest & more prizes!

CalgaryMoneySense magazine's annual rankings of Canadian cities has come out, and guess who's got first place! Not Ottawa, like last year, no, it's the great city of Calgary! The metrics that go into selecting cities for this yearly round-up are quite varied. Numbers from unemployment rates, crime, taxation, amenities, overall wealth, commuting, and, of course, housing costs go into determining the top city. Even with eleven new categories added to the selection criteria for 2013, Calgary was still able to make it to number one. That's nothing to sniff at!

So, what makes Calgary so great? The obvious first answer to that question is the abundance of jobs here. Our oil resources have boosted our economy in spades and we have the jobs to show it. Obviously, many

Hi Everyone!  I have been busy writing and getting offers on listings even though the month of March was the lowest sales in more than 5 years in Calgary! My average day on market to get a sale for a home was 8 days until April 12th! Now it has gone up to 16 days but still...not bad :-) I have had the chance to work with some great people and looking to help more. Home staging, my “Platinum Selling System” and a smart pricing strategy are what is producing results. Buyers are able to negotiate some deals but there is less on the market so it is an advantage to the Seller right now. I was successful in negotiating $5,000 off of a new home builder for my out-of-town buyers. Negotiate until you get what you want is my motto!

I have been working this year
