Nancy Ball: A Calgary Real Estate Agent with Years of Experience
Nancy Ball was first introduced to Calgary real estate as a child when her parents began flipping homes. When she made her first foray into the Calgary real estate market at 21, she learned what it was like to get her feet wet as a buyer. Soon thereafter, she graduated from Mount Royal College in the Real Estate Agents' Program and also achieved a Marketing Management Diploma.
Thanks to her early experiences in Calgary real estate, she quickly learned where the best investments are and how to increase their property value. As a native Calgarian, Nancy truly understands the Calgary real estate market and what it takes to successfully market and sell homes for sale in Calgary.
A Calgary Home Staging REALTOR® Who Puts Her Clients First
Early in her career, Nancy adopted a philosophy of putting her clients first and caring for their needs. Because of her dedication to her clients and her profession, she has become one of C.I.R. Realty South's Top 10 Producers and after just 3 years in real estate Nancy ranked #18 out of 600 Realtors for 2006. In 2005, Nancy was awarded the C.I.R. Silver Award, followed by the C.I.R. Gold Award and the C.I.R. Platinum Award in 2006, then the C.I.R. President's Platinum Award & C.I.R. Director's Platinum Club in 2014 for her contributions to her clients. Today, Nancy remains a Top 10 Producer, in fact she earned #3 Office Producer for 2014 & 2015 and #10 overall province wide for the company. Nancy's clients have greatly benefitted from her expertise in home staging, which takes any Calgary home for sale and shows it in its best light, making it more appealing to buyers and often helping clients fetch top dollar on the sale of their home.
A Contributor to Her Community
As busy as she is, Nancy still finds the time to give back by helping with community development projects and fundraising events. She has been volunteering with seniors' groups since age 18 and, in March 2004, she began volunteering with the Glamorgan Community Association. Since that time, she has coordinated the Fun Money Casino Night & Silent Auction, which has raised thousands of dollars towards building a new rink building named Glam Shack by its members. She also volunteered her time to write the community newsletter FOCUS and started the Glamorgan Seniors Corner program in 2007 after seeing a need for a program for seniors in Calgary's South West quadrant. What started with two members soon grew to a group of 50 seniors who gather ten times per year to converse and enjoy food and entertainment. The Managing Director says:
"I always appreciate working with Nancy who always follows up and delivers what she commits to with honesty and integrity. She is easy to get along with, has excellent rapport with others and is a real pleasure to work with."
Nancy has been featured in a number of publications for her real estate experience and local market expertise. See just some of the publications and community involvement she's been involved with recently on the Nancy in the Media page.
Helping Real Estate Clients Coast to Coast
In addition to volunteering, Nancy enjoys meeting other REALTORS® from across North America. This is important to clients who have moved or invested from city to city, city to acreage, province to province and country to country. Nancy comments:
"My clients' needs come first. I often have clients looking to invest or move outside of Calgary. When this happens I reach to the contacts I have made, knowing that their services are an extension of the services I provide. I interview all REALTORS® , some of their past clients and their broker before recommending them to my clients."
